Simple Present Tense

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. Actually I'm not good at writing composition, essay and some kind like that. But I just want to focus on English grammar. If you find something which is inappropriate,you can give me some advises. Well, at this time I want to discuss about Simple Present Tense.

Simple Present Tense is used to show:

1. General Truth/Fact(Fakta/kebenaran umum)
Example: -The fire is hot. (we use to be present; is)
-The sun rises in the East. 

2. Present Happening (keadaan pada saat ini)
Example: -I have two pens now. (at this time, I have two pens—as I don't know whether I will buy again later or I lost either one or both of them ) 

3.Habitual Actions (kebiasaan)

Example: 

-John walks to school every morning
-John does not walk to school every Thursday
-We always go for recess together
-Do you always go for recess together?

From the examples above,here is the form of SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE:
(+)Subject + Verb+s/es/-s/es+Object
(-)Subject + do/does +not +Verb1+Object
(?)Do/does+Subject+Verb1+Object?

Subject (The one who does something-Pelaku/subyek)
Verb (Kata kerja)
Object (obyek)
He, She, it (singular Subject/subyek tunggal)  Verb+s/es
I,we,you they(plural Subject/Subyek jamak)  verb-s/es

The verb ends in s, ch, sh, o +es

Examples: 

go becomes goes

wash becomes washes

watch becomes watches 

(note: this is only for Singular Subject (He,she,it)

Adverb of times(keterangan waktu)  for this Simple Present Tense are:
Every...,Sometimes,often, usually,annually,always,bimonthly,yearly,daily,seldom.
